MARCH“CARE fore the Cure in Loving Memory of Jerry Ortiz” – March 3, 2018 – Red Hawk Golf Club

Our special event “CARE fore the Cure in Loving Memory of Jerry Ortiz” will be held on March 3, 2018 at Red Hawk Golf Club.  Here is a little bit about Jerry. Jerry Ortiz was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico which is a small town in northern New Mexico. He was the oldest of 8 siblings. Growing up he dropped out of the 8th grade to help with the family business. Ortiz Electric was a local general contracting business that was owned and operated by his father, Alfonzo Ortiz Sr.  Jerry worked very hard to help build his kingdom for his beloved wife Ernestine and his two children, Moises and Christine. Jerry had one daughter-in-law Edwina Ortiz and three grandchildren Chris, Diego, and Alicia. In December of 2011 Jerry was diagnosed with lung cancer. Jerry enjoyed being outdoors and playing golf. He was a fighter; nothing stopped him until he had to go through chemo treatments. Jerry battled and fought till the day he left us on March 1, 2016. There were times we as a family couldn’t afford some of the treatments that were needed to help Jerry through this process. The Ortiz Family was looking to help and give to those in need. When we found out about CARE and how they would help those in need, we were ecstatic.  Join Us by downloading:  SPONSORSHIP PACKET-CARE FORE THE CURE IN LOVING MEMORY OF JERRY ORTIZ
